    Hospital Visit Checklist
Print this list and take it with you on your visit to make sure you are ready for your baby's big debut!

Lullabyes And Goodnight was started by parents for parents and we know how difficult and expensive it can be to get everything you need for your new baby boy or girls nursery and if you are looking for brand name nursery furniture, nursery decor and nursery bedding at discount and affordable prices Lullabyes and Goodnight is your solution. With so much on a new parents mind the last thing you want to have to worry about is what you need to purchase for the nursery so we have compiled a list of the top things you need and want to have in your new nursery.

    1. Crib Or Bassinet - One of the main decisions you and your partner will need to decide on is where the baby is going to sleep. Will it sleep in the room with you or will it sleep in the nursery as soon as you bring her home from the hospital. We actually used a combination of both. Having a bassinet in the room with us for the first couple of months allowed my wife to nurse the baby during the night quicker than running in and out of the babys room allowing everyone to get more sleep.

    2. Change Table - A changing table is not completely necessary but it sure is handy to have as bringing the baby to a manageable height to change her is a lot easier than bending over or getting on the floor to change diaper after diaper during the day and night.

    3. Crib Bedding You can find inexpensive crib and bassinet sheet sets, blankets, bumper pads and comforters to match your nursery decor and theme for any season of the year.

    4. Dresser - You are going to need a dresser to store all of those baby clothes, burp pads, receiving blankets, sleepers and wash clothes that the baby is going to go through. If space is an issue look at purchasing a combination change table dresser.

    5. Lamp Or Night Light - Going in and out of the nursery at night can sure be a pain to you knees and toes so look at getting an inexpensive night light or lamp to softly illuminate the room at night. The light will not only save on your knees and toes but will also make it easier to change the baby and will make moving around the nursery safer.

    6. Waste Basket - New born babies sure seem to make a lot of waste between diapers, wipes, q-tips and cotton balls and having a place right there to dispose of the garbage is sure nice.

    7. Laundry Hamper - You would be amazed at how many outfits a baby can go through in a day and having a place just for babys clothes is nice so that you do not have to separate her clothes from your clothes later for washing.

    8. Rocking Chair Or Glider - A rocking chair or glider chair is optional and not needed but on days when the baby is fussy and cranky they sure are nice as the soothing rocking or gliding motion will help put her to sleep.

    9. Nursery Decor - Decorating the nursery is a personal thing that all new parents love to do and with the amount of styles and themes available on the market now you can decorate your nursery to match your exact tastes and budget.

    10. Mobile - A mobile is something every crib needs as the soothing sounds of lullabies play and the motion of the dancing characters above her will to lull baby to sleep when she does not quite feel like sleeping or will help to calm her when she is upset.
